West End Public Beach Dauphin Island
Located on the western tip of Dauphin Island, West End Public Beach is a wonderful white sandy beach in Alabama. Offering picturesque views, plenty of sightseeing, and interesting wildlife to see including bird species, gators, and turtles, Bayfront Park is a quiet, lovely place to spend the day. The park also features benches and swings making it an ideal location for family picnics.
Moreover, it is one of those few Alabama beaches that allow dogs so you can bring your furry friends too! However, make sure to keep them on a leash because of the alligators.
Belrose Park Daphne
Another lovely waterfront area in Daphne is Belrose Park which is perfect for people who want to enjoy the sunset or just relax for a while with little interference from others. The park may be small with parking only for a few cars and two picnic tables, but since it is a hidden treasure visited mostly by locals from the neighborhood, it is always quiet and peaceful.

Meaher State Park

Take a stroll along the observation pier to see flora and fauna of this Mobile-Tensaw Delta location that is on the Alabama Coastal Birding Trail, or head to the park’s east side to launch a small boat or kayak onto the Blakely River from Oyster Beach.
The park is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for day use. After that time, only people staying in the camping can get in with the gate code. There are also cabins available to rent, offering stunning views of Mobile Bay. The perfect place for people who enjoy nature walks and wildlife viewing opportunities.
Orange Street Pier Beach – Fairhope
Orange Street Pier Beach may not be a traditional beach where you would go to spend the whole day working on your tan, but it is a fine example of secluded beaches in Alabama near Fairhope that offers a great place to relax. You can enjoy beautiful views here, walk along the shoreline or go fishing from the wooden pier.

Orange Beach Waterfront Park
Orange Beach is one of the most popular and kid-friendly beaches in Alabama, but if you want to spend your time at a more secluded place when exploring the area, head to Orange Beach Waterfront Park on the Wolf Bay side of the peninsula. This park offers everything you need for a fun family day: there is a pier for fishing, paved walking trails, and several picnic shelters with grills so that you can prepare your favorite outdoor feast.
Your children will love playing on the well-maintained slides, swings and climbing structure while you soak in the natural beauty of the nearby water. The park features clean restrooms too. Additionally, there are many nearby seafood restaurants, like GTs on the Bay and Doc’s Seafood Shack where you can get food if you get hungry.
Pine Beach Trail Gulf Shores
If you want to go hiking along hidden beaches in Alabama, then Pine Beach Trail at Bon Secor National Wildlife Refuge may be the perfect option. Located off of Alabama Highway 180 in Gulf Shores, this 2-mile trail takes you through the state’s last undisturbed coastal barrier habitat providing you with the opportunity of exploring a beautiful environment rarely seen.
There is a parking lot and an informative kiosk at the start of this trail about one mile north of the refuge’s office. When hiking along this trail, you’ll be able to observe interesting wildlife such as migratory birds, turtle species, and the endangered Alabama beach mouse. At the end of the trail, there is a breathtaking long white sandy beach you can enjoy.
