Parasailing
Parasailing – however it is thought to be scary by some people- is one of the most peaceful a recreational kiting sports. While parasailing, the participating persons are being towed with a boat while linked to a specially built canopy wing that mimics a parachute. When the boat speeds off, the parachute takes up the people into the air so they can enjoy beautiful views of the ocean, coastline and nature beneath.

It is a suitable water sport for many people because it doesn’t require any special skills; actually, you don’t even need to know how to swim. You just need to sit on the back of the boat where you will slowly glide up into the air, then descend back when the ride is over. Once you try parasailing, you can quickly realize that it is one of the coolest activities on the water.
Flyboarding
Flyboarding is an exciting water sport where a personal motorized watercraft is used. The fly board, which is fitted with a powerful water jetpack, tows the rider and propels them through the water. This cool beach activity is a relatively new one; it was invented in 2012 but became popular quickly thanks to its extremeness.

Flyboarding isn’t one of the easiest water sports with board, but it’s fun and exciting. It gives you access to high-speed stunts in the water, and you control your board with jets of water. It takes a little while to learn how flyboarding works, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be able to glide through the water at incredible speeds.
Banana Boat, Crazy Sofa
When you’re looking for activities to make your beach vacation adventurous and fun, riding a banana boat or hopping on a crazy sofa is what you need to try! Competitive beach volleyball has special rules that are different from indoor volleyball. The main differences are in the size of the playing court, the net and ball and also the scoring system. The beach volleyball team is usually comprised of two players only. When playing for fun, of course you don’t have to follow strict rules; get a net and a ball and start playing this fun beach sport.
Beach Soccer
You may be familiar with soccer, but did you know that there is another version of the sport? Well, it’s called beach soccer or beach football and originally was played as neighborhood small tourneys in Brazil. This fast-paced game that requires players to use their feet to kick the ball towards the goal became so popular internationally that FIFA became the global governing body of the sport in 2005.

This fun beach team sport is a perfect activity for all ages due to its simplicity. If you are planning to visit a place where you can play beach soccer, make sure to pack your shoes so that you won’t get hurt however the fields are usually cleared of shells and pebbles.
Footvolley
If you like volleyball, then you should try foot volleyball. This is a variant of volleyball that uses your feet instead of your hands and is one of the funniest sports you can play when on a sandy beach.

You will need a net, a football and 2 players on each side. To serve the ball into the air, you are allowed to use your foot only, while the receiving player on the other side can use her/his feet, chest, thighs, shoulders or head to pass the ball to the other player on her side or back at the opponent. Playing footvolley excellent way to pass time and exercise when the weather isn’t nice enough to go swimming.
Beach Cricket
Cricket is a sport that originated back in ancient times. This bat-and-ball game has been around for a long period and has become increasingly popular. This is mainly due to its combination of strategy, tactics and of course, fun!

When it comes to playing cricket on the sand, there are no strict rules, they can be made up as you go along and agreed between the players. Just set the pitch on a smooth, flat area (hard sand is the best), find something (such as driftwood) to use as a wicket, make a line at the bowler’s end in the sand to throw the ball from and play as you normally play cricket. Don’t look at this as a serious game rather as a pleasant beach pastime and the whole family will have fun for sure!
Beach Golf
Golf is a very popular sport across the globe and the calming sounds of the ocean can make this already relaxing game a truly meditative pastime. Beach golf originally comes from Italy, where people played it on crowded beaches where they needed to navigate the ball through the bathing people as well as objects such as umbrellas and sunbeds to reach the final hole. Therefore, the ball used at the beach is not the classical golf ball but a soft foam ball to prevent injury.

These days, beach golf is played along a path of 1.2 miles/2 km of sandy coastline where the teams (2 players per team) have to navigate the ball into the hole with as few strokes as possible.
Those who want the classic golf experience but next to the ocean find many luxurious beach golf resorts around the globe where you can enjoy the globe’s finest vistas and spend quality time with your family or friends away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
